2024 NHSA Annual Awards

The 2024 New Hampshire Snowmobile Association Annual Awards recognizes the club volunteers and supporters who manage, maintain and assist the snowmobile clubs and trails throughout the state. See the complete slideshow at the end of page.

2024 NH Snowmobiler of the Year: Ken Milkie
Ken Milkie of the Lyme Pinnacle Snowmobile Club is presented the 2024 Snowmobiler of the Year Award by Evelyn Ferrell, Grafton County Director. Ken was recognized as a snowmobile ambassador, a visionary, a fundraiser, a groomer operator, a trail worker, and so much more.
2024 NH Junior Snowmobiler of the Year: Nolan Fraser
Recognized for lending a helping hand, regardless of the task, Nolan Fraser, of the Weare Winter Wanderers, is congratulated by Susan Phillips, County Director for Hillsborough.
2024 NH Snowmobile Club of the Year: Belmont Bogie Busters
A highly active club that’s engaged in all major NHSA events, as well as sponsoring multiple safety classes in the area, they promote the spirit of snowmobiling in New Hampshire.
2024 NH Trail Worker of the Year: Ralph Fellbaum
As trail master of the Weare Winter Wanderers, Ralph works with volunteers, landowners, state and federal agencies, and the community for the advancement of snowmobiling. He recently headed construction of a 186-foot long elevated trail. Presenting is Marc Phillips, Hillsborough County Assistant Director.
2024 Catherine Dickson Award: James Strickland
Jim Strickland, of the Hidden Valley Sno-Riders, receives a standing ovation as he is recognized for being a dedicated advocate and advisor to the snowmobile community.
2024 NH Snowmobile Family of the Year: The Johnston Family
The Johnston family, made up of four generations, involved with the Central NH Snowmobile Club, starting with the grandfather in the mid 1970’s who began the original club. It is because of their motivation, drive and endless dedication that allows the snowmobile community to continue to thrive and grow in the White Mountain and Grafton County region.
2024 NH Groomer of the Year: Doug Waites
Doug has been a member of the Mount Agassiz Trail Association for thirty years, and actively grooming for twelve. His volunteering has covered all aspects of club functions and business.
2024 Lyle Fib McBurney Award: Terry Callum
Terry accepts the Lyle Fib McBurney Memorial Award from NHSA President, Tom Willand. This honor is chosen from among the NHSA Board, by peers, based on the devotion to organized snowmobiling in New Hampshire.
2024 NH Business of the Year: Appleknockers
Tori, Stacy, Jackson of Appleknockers General Store in Warren were honored as the Snowmobile Business of the Year for their support of local snowmobile clubs, donations and fund raising activities at their store, as presented by Grafton County Director, Ev Ferrell.
2024 Presidential Service Award: Nigel Croxon and Nick Bickford
NHSA President Tom Willand, recognized the efforts of treasurer Nigel Croxon and board member Nick Bickford for their efforts in promoting NH snowmobile clubs and the association.
NHSA Immediate Past President congratulates Tom Willand with the lifetime membership gold card in recognition of Tom’s tenure as president.

Grafton and Carroll County clubs receive forty-year recognition at the NHSA Annual Meeting,
The Exeter Snow Hounds, Kearsarge Trail Snails, Northwood Crankpullers, Sno-Streakers, Strafford Swamp Stompers, and the Washington Snow Riders were recognized for 50-years of membership in the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association.
Bruhawachet Sno-Trackers, Colebrook Ski Bees, Great Bay Sno-Rollers, Hooper Hill Hoppers, Lakes Region SC, Lancaster Snow Drifters, Lisbon Stump Jumpers, Mohawk Trail Riders, Monadnock Sno-Moles, Moultonboro SC, Pisgah Mt. Trailriders, Pittsburg Ridge Runners, Snowdrifters SC, Southern NH Snow Slickers, Southern NH Trailblazers, and the Twin State Trail Busters were recognized for 55-years of membership in the NHSA.

The Brookline IceBreakers, NorÕEasters SC, Uncanoonuc Mountaineers, Weare Winter Wanderers, Wilton/Lyndeborough Winter Wanderers were recognized with Sno-Traveler Awards.
The Andover SC, Fort Mountain Trailwinders SC, Lakes Region SC, Lake Sunapee SC, Town Line Trail Dusters were recognized with Sno-Traveler Awards.
The Northwood Crankpullers and Southern New Hampshire Snow Slickers were recognized with Sno-Traveler Awards.
The Powder Mill SC were recognized with a Sno-Traveler Award.
The Blow-Me-Down Snowriders, Crescent Lake Regional, Sno-Riders, Hidden Valley Sno-Riders, Old #4 Rod, Gun SC were recognized with Sno-Traveler Awards.
