This past summer, Easterseals NH and Camp Sno-Mo wished our good friend and colleague Mike Cormier a very happy retirement! Mike dedicated more than 29 years to Easterseals in various roles, but most recently at the Vice President of Development. I know I will miss Mike greatly, as I’m sure we all will. For the last 12 years, I joined Mike at many NHSA meetings and Ride-Ins. I enjoyed this time with Mike immensely. Mike gave his heart and soul to Camp Sno-Mo, the NHSA, and all its members. Mike loved to talk about the relationships and friendships he had made with many of you over the years. You all mean a lot to him!
On a personal note, I will miss Mike greatly such was the understanding and appreciation we had for one another in our respective roles. I know Mike is enjoying retirement with his wife June and they are busy fishing, hunting, and traveling in their RV. On behalf of Camp Sno-Mo and myself, I would like thank Mike for his dedicated service and support and wish him all the very best for his next exciting chapter.
I am a firm believer that in order for anything to have continued success, change is a good thing and an opportunity for new successes. If it is something of quality and substance the change will be seamless. Having said that, I am happy to introduce you all to Easterseals Event Manager Kasey Rouille who will be taking over for Mike and working with all of us to keep things moving forward. Some of you may have met Kasey already as she attended our most recent NHSA Ride-In.
This past year Kasey and I have worked together on a few Camp Sno-Mo projects and I know she will make a great successor to Mike. Kasey brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the position. I am excited and looking forward to working with her as we move into this new era. Knowing the snowmobiling community as I do, I know you will make Kasey feel as welcomed and appreciated as you all made me feel all those years ago when I attended my first Ride-In.
