Pit Access and Competitor Camping

Grass Drag Racer Registration Opens August

ALL PRO RACERS MUST PRE-REGISTER – READ CAMPING RULES CAREFULLY

  • Pit Spot and Pit Camping – Pro Racers Only – No camping for Amateur, Mini Sled, or Spectators.
  • Pro Pre-Registration with Confirmation required for pit spot, camping, and access.
  • No exceptions.
  • Racers are limited to one camper, one race trailer, tow vehicles.
  • Organizers reserve the right to reject requests, change pit location, change camping location or refuse entry to event at its sole discretion.
  • Amateur Racers – NEW Bracket Racing on Sunday

Pro Grass Drag Racer Pre-Registration Form

  • Only confirmed pre-registered tow vehicles, race sled trailers, competitor RV’s/campers are allowed pit road access, $50 fee. All other vehicles must park in general parking.
  • Late registrations are not guaranteed a pit spot.
  • Pit spots will be assigned by parking attendants (volunteers).
  • Pit Spots cannot be saved under any circumstances.
  • If you want a pit spot next to another team, you MUST arrive together. 
  • All campers/RVs are subject to inspection upon arrival by security or safety officials.
  • Junior Mini Sled racer trucks will be allowed temporary access in designated area at race time.
  • Admission Passes and Pit Passes will be sold together at the entrance to the Grass Drag Pit area. Pit passes will be $10 per day. See website for Admission Pass fees.
  • Any unauthorized vehicle, RV or trailers found in the Grass Drag Pit will be evicted without refund.
  • Pit entrance locked-closed midnight to 6:00 AM. After hours parking may be available at Walmart.
  • Racer Camping area opens Thursday at 2 PM.
  • Self-contained units only. No hookups. $500 minimum charge for dumping waste
  • NO VISITORS
  • NO TENTS
  • NO CAMPFIRES
  • NO WEAPONS
  • NO GLASS BOTTLES
  • NO FIREWORKS OR LANTERNS
  • NO DRONES
  • QUIET HOURS from 10 pm to 7 am. STRICTLY ENFORCED
  • Pets allowed in campground only. No pets in Event or Pit area. Dogs must be leashed at all times.
  • RVs and Campers must park within assigned sites and park parallel.
  • Campers must be parked with hitch facing out towards access road.
  • Parking for one tow vehicle and RV/Camper allowed per site. Second vehicle will be assigned to designated parking overflow. Parking permits must be affixed on specified area of vehicle.
  • We reserve the right to tow vehicles or trailers parked illegally, unauthorized, improperly or interfering with event, at owners expense.
  • Any damage to fences or farm will be billed to the camper that occupied that site.
  • Use of ATVs, motorcycles, golf carts or sleds NOT ALLOWED in Camping or Event area. (Exceptions for handicapped must be pre-approved by Camping Director.)
  • Vehicles entering or exiting must check-in and check-out at access booth.
  • Generator maximum noise level is 75 decibels. Examples: ultra quiet suitcase type, Honda, Predator.
  • Unauthorized entry into vendor or swap parameter before or after event hours is strictly prohibited.
  • Not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Campers will be evicted for actions involving intent to harm others, destruction of property, criminal activity, or noncompliance of Rules. No refunds for evicted persons.
