Due to the COVID-19 outbreak the NHSA Board of Directors postponed the Annual Meeting scheduled for May 17, 2020.
The Board of Directors adopted a resolution postponing the Annual Meeting until a time no less than 60 days following the expiration of the state emergency declaration, so that the membership can be given proper notice. The Executive Committee will be charged with locating a facility and choosing a date for the Annual Meeting.
The action was taken based on an advisory from the state.
“If the bylaws of a charitable organization contemplate annual meetings open either to members or to the general public, the Charitable Trusts Unit will take no action against a board of directors for adopting a resolution to delay the date of the annual meeting until the emergency declaration has expired.”
