Trails Workshop

NHSA Trailmasters Conference

The NHSA Trails Workshop provides an educational opportunity for volunteer snowmobile trail administrators or those interested in learning more about trail maintenance.

In partnership with the NH Bureau of Trails, the conference is filled with workshops, expert speakers, certification tests, and opportunities to network.

AGENDA – 2025

7:00 am to 8:30 am – Sign in-Breakfast (Donuts/Pastry/Coffee) – Vestibule/Cafeteria (Map updates with Nigel are available)

8:30 am to 9:30 pm – General Session – Auditorium (**Chainsaw safety/OHRV safety classes may be sent to their sessions at beginning)

* denotes sessions that repeat at least once during the conference
**Chainsaw safety is limited in pre-registration to a maximum of 15 participants, clubs with DCNR MOA’s and expiring safety certificates are awarded preference. Saw and PPE required.

9:45 AM to 11:00 AM (BREAKOUT 1)

Groomer Safety – Auditorium (does not repeat / all day session)
Interactive program to certify groomer operators

OHRV Instructor  –Room TBA (does not repeat / all day session)
Learn to be an instructor for OHRV Safety!

*Map Data Collection –Room TBA
GPS – Hands on with phones and GPS device

*Trail Signing 101 – Room TBA
Trail signing guidelines for direction and safety (Bureau of Trails)

*Grant-In-Aid and RTP – Room TBA
Q&A about grant programs (Bureau of Trails)

UNH Beaver Control  – Room TBA
Beaver control – love them or hate them – learn how to deal with them
