Volunteer Bonus Program

June 8, 2018 by NHSA

Snowmobile volunteers laughing at NH Grass Drags race.

Exciting news from the Race Into Winter Team and the Grass Drags!

We’ve developed a program where the clubs have an opportunity to earn even more money than in the past. Simply put, it is a bonus, or profit sharing plan.

How It Works

The program is based upon the actual profit margin of the event and the hours a club has worked. The table below shows the breakdown.

  • $5,000-$24,999 over budgeted profit, club receives additional 5% of their hours
  • $25,000-$49,999 over budgeted profit, club receives additional 10% of their hours
  • $50,000-$74,999 over budgeted profit, club receives additional 15% of their hours
  • $75,000+ over budgeted profit, club receives additional 20% of their hours

Bonus Example

A club works 600 hours and the event profit is $52,000 over budget. The bonus program then falls under the 15% category. The club would receive $6,000 for their regular hours and an additional $900 as the 15% bonus.

Grass Drags Volunteers
Race Into Winter is an incredible fundraising opportunity for clubs.

Payouts

All bonuses would be paid after all final expenses have been met. The regular checks would still go out to the clubs as they do now.

This plan allows the event to stay on budget, while offering clubs the chance to share in the success of it.

Sign Up Now

Register as a volunteer and raise funds for your club. It’s easy with the new online forms. Orientation available for new volunteers, and those hours count toward your total.
