Sure, the handling, ride, looks, and … [Read more...] about Ski-Doo X RS Renegade 900 Ace Turbo Review

Snowmobiles cross railroad trestle in NH

Railroad Corridor Ever wonder what it takes to have a railroad corridor, with tracks still in place, ready for the snowmobile season (for those lines that allow winter use by snowmobiles that is)? Let’s start with the basics first: it is illegal to ride a snowmobile on an active railroad! End of story. NH has several year-round active railroads and at no point in time is snowmobile use along … [Read more...] about Railroads, Groomers, and Backcountry Riding

2019 NH Mid-Winter Snowmobile Report

February 7, 2019 by Dan Gould

2019 NH Mid-Winter Snowmobile Report

I expect this year’s freshman class to be extraordinarily large. If the volume of calls and emails are indicators, there will be a significant number of new riders, accompanied by many returning after being away for a decade or more. That’s 9000-rpm music to the ears. Snowmobiling Not Inexpensive The newbies have plenty of questions, with “How much does a snowmobile cost?” taking the pole … [Read more...] about 2019 NH Mid-Winter Snowmobile Report
